EUROPEAN INTERPROFESSIONAL PRACTICE & EDUCATION NETWORK

Our mission

Our aim is to stimulate and share effective interprofessional training in European higher education, and to improve collaborative practice in health and social care in Europe, in order to help optimize the quality of care and the quality of life of patients/clients. As a network we want to influence educational and health care policy in the EU and its member states. As one of our key actions we have developed a framework of key competences for interprofessional collaboration. We produce tools and publications that underpin interprofessional practice and education. We organize biennial conferences, seminars and expert meetings, and we support collaborative projects of members.

The EIPEN 2025 Conference
Almost 60 persons from 7 different European countries participated. Go to the Events section to find info on this conference and the pre-conference capacity-building seminar. The next conference will be held in September 2027. It will be announced soon after September 2026.

Webinar on interprofessional assessment. Hester Smeets has presented this webinar on the design of assessment for interprofessional education. This webinar was free and exclusively for EIPEN members.
